It's the last night we spent in Disney, we got to experience a spectacular firework show. Tinkerbell even flew across the dark sky as the first fireworks went off. In the midst of the show Dumbo flew around in the dark around the lit castle. It was beautiful.
The moment was intensifying as I stood impatiently with Hot Caramel flavored Coffee with big Mickey Mouse Cookie.. People around me were just as excited as I was, my two boys sat staring at the castle when the light dimmed. And there it went. WOW!
Well, I opted to do the "Penny Collection" so that was my mission as I ran around Disneyland and California Resort to collect them all. The whole total came to around 50 dollars.. and there is still so much to collect. On the next go round.. we do plan on coming back next year.. we didn't get a chance to do the whole thing. ALSO.. We know better than come around end of school year, too much graduation activities going on for kids.
My boys they went around going on any additional rides they could, my sweetie went on rides that Grandson couldn't go on. We met up in Cali side at the end... we sat by the San Fransico bridge and thought about how this would be our last day, last minute, last second as we ate our popcorn and drank those delicious ice cold sodas.. It's over, now it was time to go home.
Grandson tipped over when we got on the freeway.. Getting out of Cali is always the same... hours and hours of dreadful pace on the freeway to Barstow.. Riverside Freeway.. In so many miles it tooks us three hours to get to the baseline. I couldn't stand it anymore, as soon as I saw four mustangs... ahhhhhh... One GT, One SVT, One 03, and normal black one... I took off after them, we hit 90's and got to Barstow in minutes. We named them all with crazy character names..
As soon as we got to Barstow, Grandpa took over the driving and we headed for home. I fell over then.. I just remember at times we hit dips and I opened my eyes to make sure Grandpa wasn't getting out of line.. LOL.
I awakened in Flagstaff. I took over and drove to Gallup.. and of course, there was an accident on I-40 by Winslow. We all waited and waited.. come find out, we have to wait for them to clean up the whole mess before we could go through. I don't know what happened.. we just sat there, and for awhile I sure felt like taking a nap. My eyes were stinging. I laughed at one point thinking about 25 of those semi trucks that are parked alongside are probably the ones I passed way back there... and now they're are right there next to me.. The men in front were driving a brand new caddie cst.. they were tall and..I kid you not, they were so fragile looking.. I sure thought they were going to tip over in the light breeze.
