July 3, 2009

So cameras were not allowed, in a way it's good for me to just relax and simply enjoy the evening. The picture was taken from the phone. I like my camera.. only because of Youtube, but it takes icky pictures. Maybe I just need to reconfigure.. who knows. I don't, dats fo sho.

Yesterday during the day was like any other day.. a lot of things need to get done. But I was too busy shopping around for a inexpensive photography studio equipment for me to practice with...all within my budget (it was either that or new lens for my camera.. I opted the equipment), and trying to finish up the scrapbook for my uncle. Yes, it's a lot of pictures. I sorted through which ones are more memorable. The had traditional navajo stuff, and powwow stuff, live band, and speeches from loved ones.. so I'm trying to make it look nice for him.

In the afternoon since we didn't have suitable lawn chairs Hubby went to Wallyworld I think..and bought couple of nice cushioned lawn chair.. (I was very thankful for it.. very comfortable). Then off to Towoac Colorado.. Whooo HOoo

We found a place and nestled our behinds there.. we sat farthest to the side so we won't be in so much contact with the sound.. the band was "AC/DC Tribute band" or Live Wire from New York. They were actually good. Ai, it brought in a lot of people.

The boys ran off and went on rides and grabbed some snacks while we listened to the concert. I babysat our stuff and did my school work. Like every concert they play various loud music. So, it was good for me to just sit there and enjoy my evening. It was loud. Thankfully I got some weight on me, otherwise I would fall off my chair. Ha ha.. even the ground was vibrating... I put a hat on Grandson to cover up some noise.. he was ok with it.. soon after he started to dance to the rhythm.

Then of course, the fireworks was spectacular.. Loved it. It was pretty long. Hubby and I were saying the casino must off brought in plenty of revenue to throw a nice event. Well, in any event.. we thanked the losers. The people who went home empty handed after gambling their money away.
