Leaving Albuquerque....
Well, CRAP!!
I lost my wedding ring in Texas, something that happens to men only. Hah, kidding. That sucked. I need to call the Hotel back and ask them to check it again. I think, I yanked it off by a mistake when I had the key ring around my fingers. SO really it could be just about anywhere. When I'm tired, I start tossing my jewelry off.. I hate jewels to begin with, I just thought I would look half way decent, now this morning I have no wedding ring and it sucks.
Yesterday, after Cuba we hit a major thunderstorm.. and it poured hard. The rain was about 2 inches high on the road. My wipers were even having a hard time keeping up with the rain. We slowed down to 65. A car had went off the road there were about 6 Police cars and trucks there.. We thought it was a Checkpoint. But nah, I just hope the people are ok, afterall it was upside down in the ditch.
I drove from home to Abilene on a 4 hr. sleep and did pretty darn good, actually the time went by fast. Troy is a good company, he told me stories and we kid around about stuff.. listened to his music. I even had a talk with him about his "ICP".. they have absolute dirty mouth and say very nasty stuff about women. He said he didn't think of them that way and it's all one-sided.. The process he knows it's just a kiddy phase.. and bleh bleh.. I even like a song "Wizard of Oz" from the "Wizard of the Hood". IT sounds just like something I would say. I don't care just as long as he knows, that really isn't how life really is.
We talked about having family values, and the tough times he endured by his mom. I told him, we love him down here, why didn't he call? He said he did, but a lot of times he called while he was drinking... and thought that was why we didn't respond. I told him I did tell mom and my brother to go get him during that time. But all is well, he is thankful that we care, meaning everyone and we back him up all the way.
I told Hubby he was a wonderful help and company. He said he would take him to ABQ during the week and take him pants and coat shopping.
We are sitting at a Internet Cafe so he can experience WIFI and we're having our breakfast. I hadn't had good coffee in a long time.. as easy as it can get for me I ordered plain old Hazel. We still have 3.5 hr drive to location so we really need to step on it. We are already an hr. behind. Remember the time change? Well, I didn't.
Tonight I would like to take him to Dallas so we can look around and show him Cowboy stadium.. We'll boo them today, and when we leave we'll boo them again. How about that?
